Militant protesters marked the anniversary of George Floyd’s murder with yet another riot in Portland, Oregon — smashing up local businesses and trying to burn down the city’s Justice Center, according to police.

More than 200 rioters — most fully clad in black and many wearing gas masks — trashed the troubled City of Roses soon after a peaceful march ended late Tuesday, according to the Portland Police Bureau (PPB).

Some of the mob tried to torch the Multnomah County Justice Center by pushing flaming dumpsters against the building as at least two people tried to pry open the doors and get inside, the force said.

“People chanted to burn the building down,” the force said, noting how many used umbrellas to hide their illegal activities.

“People threw frozen water bottles, glass bottles, eggs and metal spikes at officers and fired mortar-style fireworks at officers,” the police bureau said.

The mob continued the barrage, and also formed rows and left metal spikes in the street to try to stop firefighters from getting in to tackle the blazes, PPB said.

“When the fire was out and firefighters got safely away, officers deployed smoke then left the area,” the force said.

The crowd — still numbering more than 200 — moved on to City Hall, where windows were smashed, the force said.

It was finally declared a riot around 10 p.m. because of the “violent and tumultuous conduct of the crowd,” PPB said.

The rioters then smashed up several local businesses, including a jewelry store, a Starbucks, a credit union and Ruth’s Chris Steak House, The Oregonian said.

“People within the crowd were overheard saying the night was a success,” the Portland force said.

At least five people were arrested on charges including criminal mischief and riot, police said.

Tuesday’s riot came amid demonstrations across the country to mark the one-year anniversary of Floyd’s murder under the knee of former Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin.

Portland became the main flashpoint for violent upheaval since the murder last May, with demonstrations spanning more than 100 consecutive nights and including several riots again this year.
