HAVERTOWN, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- The Powerball jackpot has ballooned to $1 billion after Monday night's drawing produced no winners.
The winner numbers in Monday's drawing were 5, 8, 9, 17 and 41, and the Powerball was 21.
The estimated cash payout for the next drawing is $516.8 million.
Three people won $2 million after matching all five numbers + the Power Play. Lottery officials say the winning tickets were sold in Arkansas, Georgia and Texas.
And there were five people who won $1 million after matching all five numbers. The winning tickets were sold in Connecticut, Florida, Kentucky, New York and Pennsylvania.
It's still unclear where the winning ticket was sold in Pennsylvania.
The current Powerball jackpot falls only behind the $2.04 billion jackpot won last year, and the $1.586 billion jackpot won in 2016. The estimated $1 billion jackpot is also the seventh largest in U.S. lottery history.
The overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 24.9. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
The next drawing will be on Wednesday, July 19.
And if $900 million isn't enough, the Mega Millions $640 million jackpot drawing is Tuesday night.
Many people have an idea of what they would do if they won.
"I would travel. I think maybe buy some real estate, but I'd have to think about where," said Lillian Gervasi of Ardmore.
Some say they would use the money to help others.
"I would share it. I would share it with my family, friends, relatives, charity. It's a lot of money," said Jeanette Streleckis of Ardmore.
"I'll try to do something good with it. I've been involved in a couple of charitable things that I'd like to do a little more for and this would certainly help," said Brown.
Winning tickets have been previously sold at Newtown Square Beverage.
"We did sell a $200,000 cash ticket back in 2017, and a year later we won or we sold $10,000 on the Mega Millions," said Michael Roberta, the part-time manager at Newtown Square Beverage.
Some people are trying to touch on the store's previous luck.
Retailers that sell winning Powerball tickets receive a bonus of 1% of the prize amount.
Officials say winners have one year from the date of the winning drawing to claim their prize.
